ConvidArte in Tumaco, Colombia

Convidarte has been facilitating sustainable access to water, sanitation and/or hygiene (WASH) services in 20 rural and seven urban communities in Tumaco since May 2018.

  • Investment: More than US $6 millions 
  • Executing Partner: PLAN Fundation
  • Target number of participants: 22.500 by December 2022
  • Implementation of: infrastructure, organizations strengthening for WASH services provision, and Social Art for Behavioral Change™ activities (SABC).

Guanajuato, Mexico

Guanajuato Project has been facilitating access to WASH services to 95 communities in the region since October 2017.

  • Investment: More than US $14 millions 
  • Executing Partner: Guanajuato State Water Commission (CEAG) and Living Water International (LWI)
  • Target number of participants: 49.000 by December 2022. 
  • Implementation of: infrastructureorganizations strengthening for WASH services provision, Social Art for Behavioral Change™ activities (SABC), and WASH value chain strengthening in the intervened areas.

Nicaragua Rural

Since June 2017, the Nicaragua Rural Project has been facilitating sustainable access to WASH services in Waslala, Waspam, and Puerto Cabezas municipalities.

  • Investment: More than UD $8 millions
  • Executing Partner: WaterAid America
  • Target number of participants: 17.500 by December 2022. 
  • Implementation of: infrastructureorganizations strengthening for WASH services provision, Social Art for Behavioral Change™ activities (SABC), and WASH value chain strengthening in the intervened areas.

Quiché Program, Guatemala

The Quiché Program was implemented by Water For People between in May 2015 and December 2020 in four municipalities in Quiché department.

  • Investment: More than UD$ 10 millions
  • Executing Partner: Water For People
  • Target number of participants: 40.000 people at the close of operations in December 2020. 
  • Participation in SABC Activities: 81.000 people.
  • Implementation of: infrastructure, organizations strengthening for WASH services provision in 68 communities in San Andrés, Sajcabajá, San Antonio Ilotenango, San Bartolomé Jocotenango and Santa Cruz del Quiché municipalities in Guatemala.

Y Kuaa, Paraguay

Y Kuaa is a project in 109 communities in Caaguazú, Concepción, Guairá, Itapúa, Paraguarí, San Pedro, Alto Paraná, Canindeyu and Cordillera departments. Y Kuaa, means "Knowledge of water" in Guaraní, and began in August 2017.

  • Investment: More than US$ 30 millions
  • Executing Partner: Moisés Bertoni Foundation (FMB), the government agency National Environmental Sanitation Service of Paraguay (Senasa).
  • Target number of participants: 72.000 in six departments by December 2022. 
  • Implementation of: infrastructureorganizations strengthening for WASH services provision, Social Art for Behavioral Change™ activities (SABC), increasing the exercise of healthy practices, and WASH value chain strengthening in the intervened areas.
